1. Purpose and Scope

• Instructor Advisor is an online service that facilitates connections between independent sports instructors ("Instructors") and individuals or guardians seeking sports education ("Students" or "Parents").
• Instructor Advisor does not employ instructors directly; all instructors operate independently.
• We provide the technology for listing, discovering, and booking sports lessons.
• We do not intervene in lesson execution, safety supervision, or training outcomes.

2. Eligibility and Account Creation

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, or a parent/guardian acting on behalf of a minor.
• You agree to provide accurate and current information when registering.
• Each account is personal and non-transferable.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and all activities under your account.

3. Services Provided

• Instructors may publish lesson offerings, set availability, and accept bookings.
• Students may browse, filter, and book lessons based on sport, skill level, and instructor profiles.
• The platform provides communication and dashboard tools for secure coordination.
• Instructor Advisor may promote certain listings but does not guarantee visibility or bookings.

4. Instructor Obligations

Instructors agree to:

• Provide truthful information about qualifications, certifications, and experience.
• Comply with all applicable laws, including child protection, safety, and licensing requirements.
• Deliver lessons professionally and in line with accepted sports education standards.
• Obtain all necessary insurances, permits, and authorizations for conducting training.

Instructor Advisor reserves the right to suspend or remove instructors who fail to meet these obligations.

5. Student and Parent Responsibilities

Students and Parents agree to:

• Ensure that chosen instructors meet their needs before booking.
• Follow all instructions and safety guidelines provided by instructors.
• Accept responsibility for minors by supervising and approving lessons booked on their behalf.
• Acknowledge that sports training carries inherent risks and participate at their own risk.

6. Content Submission and Listings

• Instructors may publish lesson listings, descriptions, pricing, and schedules.
• Students may submit reviews, feedback, and ratings.
• By submitting content, users grant Instructor Advisor a worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute such content within the platform.
• Instructor Advisor may review and remove content that is unlawful, misleading, or violates these Terms.

7. Searching and Distribution of Listings

• Users may search instructor listings through filters such as sport type, location, and availability.
• Instructor Advisor does not guarantee search rankings or listing placement.
• The platform may feature or promote specific listings, which does not imply endorsement.

8. Payments and Fees

• Payments are processed through third-party payment providers.
• Instructor Advisor may charge service or platform fees for transactions.
• Instructors are responsible for any applicable taxes on their earnings.
• Cancellations and refunds are subject to the cancellation policy displayed at the time of booking.
• Circumventing platform payments by arranging direct transactions outside the platform is prohibited and may result in account suspension.

9. Safety, Trust, and Security

• Sports instruction involves physical exertion and potential risks, including injury.
• Instructor Advisor strongly encourages both instructors and students to maintain appropriate health, liability, or accident insurance.
• Instructor Advisor may offer optional verification or background checks but does not guarantee the accuracy of user-provided information.
• Users are responsible for exercising judgment and taking precautions before entering into agreements.

10. Use of Dashboard and Platform Tools

• Each registered user has access to a personal dashboard to manage bookings, schedules, payments, and communications.
• Users are prohibited from using the platform tools for spam, harassment, or activities unrelated to sports instruction.
• Users must ensure secure and respectful use of communication features.

11. Acceptable Use Policy

You may not:

• Provide false, misleading, or fraudulent information.
• Post unlawful, defamatory, or offensive content.
• Harass, abuse, or threaten other users.
• Attempt to bypass platform systems, security, or payment processes.
• Copy or exploit platform content or intellectual property without authorization.

Violation of these terms may result in suspension or termination of your account.

12. Intellectual Property Rights

• All trademarks, logos, platform designs, and software belong to Instructor Advisor.
• User-generated content remains the property of the creator but may be used under the license granted to Instructor Advisor (see Section 6).
• Unauthorized reproduction or distribution of platform materials is prohibited.

13. Limitation of Liability

• Instructor Advisor is not responsible for the conduct of instructors, students, or parents.
• We are not liable for injuries, damages, or losses sustained during sports lessons.
• We do not guarantee outcomes, skill improvement, or satisfaction from lessons.
• To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability shall not exceed the total fees paid to us in connection with your use of the platform.

14. Termination of Accounts

• Instructor Advisor may suspend or terminate accounts at its discretion for breach of these Terms.
• Users may request account deletion at any time.
• Termination does not relieve users from obligations incurred prior to termination (e.g., outstanding payments).

15. Dispute Resolution

• Users are encouraged to resolve disputes directly with each other.
• Instructor Advisor may assist at its discretion but is not obligated to mediate disputes.
• Any legal disputes shall be resolved under the governing law stated in Section 16.

16. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
